Megan Glisson
Megan has performed since the age of eight for the World renowned innovative gym named “Top Gun” in Miami. I was a part of the gold winning routine at the 2010 Cheerleading Worlds and the 2013 Cheerleading Worlds. My accomplishments are being a part of 27 national titles, 9 time grand champion, Two ESPN silver world championships and two gold world championship. She is also a member of USA’s pro X extreme cheerleading team. When I am at home I enjoy family time, the beach, volleyball, sunsets off my balcony, horseback riding, photography, shopping, movies, dressing up and dancing. I am energetic and I work very hard in all areas. Recently, Megan just made the University of Kentucky blue "varsity" squad.
Britni Love
Britni is 15 years old and has been cheering for 11 years. She is home schooled and is a junior in high school. She is the youngest of all her siblings, which is six. She did gymnastics and cheer. She danced for approximately seven years in pom, hip hop, jazz and tap. She will be cheering for Gymtyme Pink this year. Check out Britni writing in this issue along with her mother and sister Whitney!
Whitney Love
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Whitney, 18, grew up as a gymnast and reached level 9 at the age of 11. Her entire family has been involved in gymnastics for as long as she can remember. She started cheering in the 2002-2003 season at Kentucky Elite and won the World Championships in 2010. Whitney is a tumbling fanatic! It is her favorite thing to do! She was the first girl to ever land a standing double on the spring floor with shoes on in 2011. She now attends Oklahoma State University, where she is a full time student. Whitney cheers for her school and Twist and Shout Sr.. Obsession. Family is VERY important to her along with her beliefs. She loves what she does and intends to keep doing it as long as she can.
Taylor Minchew
Originally from Deland, Florida where she started her cheer career at seven years old. Taylor has been cheering at Cheer Extreme Allstars in Kernersville, North Carolina for the past five years. She cheers on Sr Elite and Small Jr’s. She is 15 years old and is a Freshman at Ledford High school, where she also cheers on their Varsity squad. She is a 2012 World Champion, a 2011 Silver Worlds medalist, 2013 Majors Silver medalist, 2012 Majors Bronze, 3 time NCA National Champion, and 5 time Cheersport National Champion. Taylor loves traveling, meeting new people, and making friends around the World. She is extremely excited to be a TCLM Contributor.
Jamie Andries
She cheers for Cheer Athletics in Plano, Texas. This is her third season on Cheetahs, the large coed level 5 team at CA. She has been cheering at Cheer Athletics for seven years. In 2011 her team won third place at Worlds and in 2012 she became a World Champion and NCA Champion with Cheetahs. This season her team has won The Majors and various other national champion titles. She is 15 years old and a sophomore at Allen High School where she cheers on the varsity squad.
Holden Ray
Holden is 15 years old and is in the 8th grade at West Carry Middle School. He’s a Cheer Extreme All Star Cheerleader. He’s on the Senior Coed Elite based out of Kernersville, North Carolina. He’s a 2010 NCA Champion, 2011 Silver Medalist at The Cheerleading Worlds, 2012 Nfinity Legend and a 2012 MAJORS Champion! Cheerleading means so much to him because he loves performing, traveling, and meeting new people! In the “cheer world” that is what he gets to do! He’s so excited to meet many new friends this season! Make sure you’re on the look out to see him and follow him in The Cheer Leader Magazine.
Laney Madsen
Laney cheers for the California All Stars, Junior Mafia, and is a Karma Returns and Wild Cheer Gear Sponsored Athlete! She’s 11 years old and is a current NCA National Champion. Laney is 1/2 American and 1/2 Bulgarian. She started cheering at an early age, been stunting with her father her entire life and started tumbling when she was eight. At six she competed for the Mini Level 3 and by the next year she was a Youth 4. By nine, she was a part of a Senior Open Coed Level 5 and at the age of 10 she joined the California All Stars Junior Coed Level 5. She is well known for doing many Elite Tumbling and level 6 stunting skills at such a young age even inventing some of her very own.
Drew White
Drew is the co-owner and editor of The Cheer Leader Magazine. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. While at UK she was a varsity blue squad cheer leader for four years winning three national titles. She was also a member of Team USA for three years winning three gold medals. Drew now spends her time working on TCLM and taking care of her baby boy, Tripp Allen White. She is married to Travis White and resides in Bowling Green, KY.

Jomo Thompson
Jomo is the University of Kentucky cheerleading coach. He just recently won his 20th national title with the program. He himself was a cheer leader at the University of Florida and the University of Kentucky. He is a great role model and an outstanding coach.
Jacqui Lopez
Jacqui is a cheer leader at the University of Kentucky on the blue squad. She cheered at Graves County High School in Mayfield, KY.
Kelsey LaCroix
Cheers on ICE Lady LIghtning and is a senior in high school at St. Charles North High School.
Jessica Rzeszut
Jessica is the marketing manager for the cheerleading apparel company, Chassé. She has a B.A. in Communications and focuses on her experience as a team athlete and leader to keep Chassé connected to everything cheer. With a keen eye for the newest trends, Jessica is constantly collecting new information to help Chassé reach and exceed its mission to provide high-performance apparel and accessories at affordable costs.
